About us

The Logistics HR Summit & Awards 2026 is conceived as a focused, industry-led platform dedicated to workforce challenges unique to the logistics, maritime, and supply chain ecosystem.

Organised by Maritime Gateway, in association with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC), the summit will bring together HR leaders and CHROs, Logistics, shipping, and supply chain executives, Training institutions and academicians, Skill development bodies, Policymakers and government representatives.

India’s logistics, maritime, and supply chain sector is at a pivotal moment. Rapid infrastructure development, multimodal integration, digitalisation, and national initiatives such as the National Logistics Policy and PM Gati Shakti are reshaping how goods move across the country and beyond. As ports, logistics parks, warehouses, inland waterways, and technology-driven supply chains expand, the sector’s success increasingly depends on one critical factor — human capital.

Automation, data-driven planning, digital platforms, and new mobility and fuel models are transforming operations across shipping lines, ports, terminals, warehousing, freight forwarding, and last-mile delivery. While these advancements improve efficiency and competitiveness, they also redefine workforce requirements. The industry now needs professionals who combine operational expertise with digital skills, regulatory awareness, safety compliance, and strategic thinking.
